Bio
Margin Code are a modern progressive metal band based in Milan (Italy), born from the vision of Ralph Salati, guitarist of Destrage (Metal Blade Records / 3 Dot Recordings), first joined by guitarist Gabriel Consiglio from Furor Gallico (Massacre Records / Scarlet Records), and, later on, by Christopher Volpi, singer of Ready, Set, Fall (Lifeforce Records) and Jack Repetti from Alogon on bass guitars.
The project seeks to explore experiences that lie on the thin line between abstract and reality, through numerical symbolism, delving into the duality of order and chaos. This conceptual journey is translated into music, lyrics, and graphics.
Musicwise, Margin Code blend modern metal sounds inspired by bands like Tesseract and Periphery, while also drawing from the more classic roots of progressive metal, with influences from piooners, like Tool and Dream Theater.
After a period of gestation, during which the members also worked on their other parallel projects, Margin Code completed their debut album Solar/Lunar in 2025 – just the first chapter of an intense artistic journey, with the aim to push beyond any limits or boundaries, continually expanding their musical experimentation.
